Regional Upstream & MODU Assurance Mariner

Responsibilities
- This role is to assist the Regional Marine Lead Upstream / MODU Assurance in providing marine technical assurance in Upstream International in Asia, Australia, Middle East and Regional P&T Wells in Kuala Lumpur, principally for their contracted and operated Marine Assets (including Mobile Offshore Drilling Units) within the Asia Pacific Middle East region. The position accountability will also include other maritime assurance activities on behalf of Upstream APME, Regional P&T and other parts of the business as demand requires. Key deliverable is to the Shipping Global Standards and Assurance division; assisting in the delivery and management of the Regional P&T Global Rig Start Up Team (GRST) and MODU maritime assurance plan (this includes administration of required KPI scorecards and action trackers).
- Participate in MODU and / or Regional Upstream International and P&T vessel maritime inspections as required, using the appropriate Industry template.
- Participate in MODU and / or Upstream APME, P&T Vessel Operator maritime HSE Capability Assessments as required.
- Manage oversight and support delivery of the Maritime Contractors HSE improvement initiatives in the APME region related to Upstream, MODU and / or P&T vessels assurance activities provided by Shipping as needed.
- Coordinate the responsibility of data analysis, presentations and awareness training related to Upstream, MODU and / or P&T vessel maritime safety related activities.
- Conduct and / or attend incident investigations when required, and lead safety initiatives in the region.
- Provide input into global collaboration across Shipping and Maritime and P&T businesses, to ensure learning is captured and shared; ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively across Shipping and P&T businesses.
- Provide Regional advice and support to business managers and HSSE professionals in relation to Upstream International Maritime assurance and MODU Maritime assurance.
- Member of the local / regional maritime safety Emergency Response Network.
Requirements
- A maritime professional qualification at Class 1 (Deck or Engine) or equivalent, with seagoing experience in senior rank (Chief Officer, or higher).
- Operational experience in maritime HSSE assurance is essential.
- Experience in audits and vessel inspections based on Industry standard inspection formats is essential. OVID accreditation is an advantage.
- Experience in Upstream Marine Logistics is preferred, including operational experience of mobile offshore drilling units, offshore support vessels (including dynamic positioning) and rig moves.
- Experience in maritime incident mitigation, investigation and learning is preferred.
- Good analytical, communication & presentational skills with proven ability to work as an individual, and lead or work as a team member are required.
- Managerial experience in directing remote teams, setting goals and objectives, and delivery of key targets.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, the ability to speak another language would be an added advantage.
- Self-Motivated.
- A mature professional, able to work independently and communicate effectively with those having only a limited knowledge in incident mitigation, investigation and learning.
Facilities Engineer - Jakarta
Job Description
- Develop and Execute Technical Discipline Assurance function for for End to End project management.
- Responsible for engineering and construction of implementation opportunity project for RDC (Regional Distribution Center) within time and budget regarding the technical and safety Shell standards and Indonesia laws
- Support Asset Owners to establish operational requirement for RDC implementation with Warehouse Operating experts.
- Support Asset Owners to establish asset reference plans for key Civil Assets and Executes engineering efforts in a risk based methodology (Civil Inspection / Shell Infrastructure Asset Management) to mitigate Infrastructure and other Civil issues. This requires setting strategies and action plans, as well as developing business cases when needed.
- Develop plant integrity and maintenance system / plan post project execution phase.
- During project implementation phase, manage, monitor and co-ordinate the detailed design engineering and procurement activities.
- Manage FEED and EPC contractor employment and detailed design activities; assure that documents are in accordance with shell standards and available on time; manage input of other disciplines (mechanical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, rotating equipment) and inspection; - Check deliverables and drawings submitted by third parties; ensure that all documents and information are available to maintenance execution before start of construction.
- Manage service procurement processes in close cooperation with C&P and engineering contractor; develop / check technical requirements / specifications for third party deliverables;
- Together with FEED contractor Develop EPC contractors scope of work for RDC construction to meet International standard / code as well as local regulation and meeting Shell safety standard.
- Ensure control process: specify quality assure / control requirements and manage development of maintenance / project quality plans; implement change control process; identify lessons learned and manage reviews.
Competency and Requirement
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor, Master) from reputable University.
- More than 5 years experience in civil engineering, construction, project management, engineering at project or Manufacturing.
- Self Driving, good leadership, Experience in leading own staff and contractors
- Familiar with AUTOCAD software.
- Able to review engineering calculation (structural, foundation, underground system).
- Experience in Engineering and Construction for Plant Building.
- Familiar with International & local safety standard requirement.

Quality Manager LOB - Jakarta and Marunda
Accountabilities
- Coach, lead and organize laboratory staff in the Plant.
- Ensure that the Plant laboratory complies with Shell Group or local standards (whichever is the more stringent) and external HSSE requirements and fully deliver the HSSE plan.
- Ensure the Laboratory in the plant complies with requirements of the Lubricant and Grease Quality System (LQS & GQS)
- Carry out similar tests as above for Fuels where such agreements are in place.
- Ensure laboratory participates in the quarterly Lubricants Laboratory Correlation Scheme (LLCS).
- Monitor incoming base oil source and quality to determine impact on blended lubricants. Ensure that BOMs are adjusted promptly as required by changes in base oil physical and chemical properties.
- Maintain systematic records, such that retrospective investigation of quality incidents can be successfully conducted to determine root cause of the problems.
- Satisfactory resolution of customer complaints arising from product quality issues; prevention of recurrence.
- Educate LSC personnel on products and quality assurance matters.
- Work with Product Management to regularly review formulations and optimize base oil, VII and PPD to minimize costs.
- Work with the Production Team to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing Right First Time performance.
- Champion the effective use of manufacturing quality assurance tools to enable efficiency improvement and cost reduction in LSC operations.
- Setting up QC processes for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up
- Support timely preparation, submission and receipt of required licenses for commercial operation together with the Plant Manager, as required for local clearances.
- Accountable for Lab process safety and asset integrity, support sign off statement of fitness and successful Lab hand-over from the Project Manager by Plant Manager
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry or Technical Qualification in Chemistry
- Laboratory experience
- Experience as Quality Manager from manufacturing or fabrication minimum 8 years
